M. Jay Groves, DPM

Mack Jay Groves IV, DPM is a New Orleans native and founder of Groves Foot & Ankle. Following graduation from Loyola University in New Orleans and Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Groves completed the esteemed three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Northlake Regional Medical Center in Tucker, Georgia, where he received rigorous training by leaders in the specialty. During his post-graduate training, Dr. Groves also completed a trauma fellowship in Hamburg, Germany.

Dr. Groves is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Groves is an active member of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association, where he has served as President, and is an active faculty member of The Podiatry Institute, where he has served as Chairman.

Sharing an equal passion for developing young practitioners and continuing the education of seasoned professionals, Dr. Groves lectures nationally and is the author of several publications. As a private practitioner, he is a respected clinical leader and statewide consultant in treating common and uncommon conditions of the foot and ankle.
