Dr. Hemelt is a board certified Ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience. A native of New Orleans, he moved to Slidell in 2000 when he joined Northlake Eye Center. Dr. Hemelt has practiced exclusively in St. Tammany for the past 26 years in private practice. He is trained to treat all eye diseases and has a focus on General Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery as well as Blepharoplasty eyelid surgery.
